I love the graphic of this game. It reminds me of my childhood when I played old PS1 game. Good Job DEV. :-D Here is my 5 minutes+ gameplay. Enjoy~

Good game! It was really fun when I was being chased by a killer and had to solve a puzzle, even though it was difficult and I had to repeat it many times. Looking forward to your next project... :)

difficult to turn on/off ambient occulusion and film grain(in the mainmenu)

bug: I went back of the house and suddenly game restarts

Thanks for reporting the bug.

Regarding the option to activate and deactivate ambient occlusion, just click on the checkbox to deactivate and activate.

(1 edit)

it works fine in-game but not in the menu(before starting game)

In the menu, does it not activate the effect or does it not activate the checkbox?

its was pretty alright, tho I came across a bug where sometimes an invisible wall would be in front of me when I would try to equip items.

Would you consider adding different languages to your games? great game(s) btw..

(1 edit) (+1)

Adding other languages is a very difficult thing to do, but maybe I'll do it in a future update, or in the next game.

Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

Good atmosphere and puzzle moments.

Great game, honestly the image of Baby face patiently standing behind me as I open the grate is hilarious; I wish I could pan the camera to see him as I work. I had a lot of fun, the puzzle was easy to figure out, trying to avoid Baby face in a small dead end room was the real challenge.

You did a great job on the game!

please slow the murderer

I'm working on an update to improve the game and especially the assassin's AI. I'll publish it soon.

I've loved all Noxus's games, this one especially. 5/5. Had some good scares, good play time, and honestly loved the fact the killers hits sounded like ass claps, nicknamed him the Cheek Ripper lmao.

This was a very solid game! However, I wasn't really a fan of the item switching and using element of this game. I go further into detail in the video. Overall though, worth the play!

That was a great game!

This was quite cool, I liked the atmosphere & the PS1 style and I liked the notes that added context to the story. I did leave my feedback at the end. Nice, short & creepy!
Here is my playthrough, I hope you will enjoy?

I apologize, but did you play this game or are you just being a troll? You literally have the option to adjust settings on the launch screen. Have you seen the settings bar? Once you are in the game you can turn on and off whatever you want as well as in the menu before the launch. Honestly, you should pay more attention before making a comment, just an advice.

I wish I knew what was said hahaha

The basically trolled the game, saying that it had no option to turn of the CRT and things like that so yeah, some little kid probably and they got scared afterwards I guess.

great jobs

The perfect balance of suspense and immersive atmosphere. This was a blast!

You have come far from "The Smiling Man", both with visuals and gameplay. Not to mention, the game's antagonist has a brief, compelling back story and very poetic one as well. I loved that the most. Sound design, the newest inventory system - perfection in one piece.

Although, as your quality grows, the demands will follow as well. There are minor issues here and there, but some stand out more than the others. Like the into for you studio - amazing, yet you don't need to put it twice in the game. Maybe add one towards the end and that's it. Also, the puzzle with the numbers and running around can be balanced. I think the AI is a bit too agressive, but I understand the issue, because making an AI in Copper Cube 6 is very difficult. That's all I have for it right now.

Congrats for making another epic Diego! Keep going and making more please. Best to you friend 💯💯💯💯💯

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

It has been a long time since I played horror games and I was surprised to enter itch.io to see a brand new horror game created by the creator of the iconic "The Smiling Man", so I decided to play the game. The game has an intriguing storyline where the main character decides to head to a dangerous house where the serial killer is likely to be present in the house.

It was definitely quite scary to walk through claustrophobic narrow hallways in the basement and throughout the house as it feels as though a jumpscare can happen at any point of time while exploring the house. I like the cutscene where the game starts to get more intense from there and running around looking for items in a wild chase was quite intense yet enjoyable at the same time. Moreover, I think it was good that the story about how the serial killer came about was also included to allow players to better understand the storyline and immerse the player into the game. Additionally, I liked the cutscene that occurred in the game as it was such a iconic moment when it involves the policeman in horror movies and games XD.

However, I felt that time stopping while searching for items was quite beneficial for the player while being chased since it gives time for the player to get the items out and search for items but in reality, the main character would have been hacked to death while partaking in such activities. It would be much more intense and scary if the player had to constantly worry about the serial killer while partaking in such tasks. Furthermore, I felt that the story could have been more developed as I felt quite detached from the game as a whole where the main focus is just escaping from a chaser that technically can be anyone. Lastly, the invisible barriers preventing the main character from accessing certain areas that will be unlocked later on isn't very realistic as well.

Overall, I liked the mood and atmosphere of the game and the solving of the puzzle to escape the Serial Killer's house. Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

Thank you very much for playing my game and commenting on your experience.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

Regarding the story, there's a piece of paper that can be found inside the house in one of the drawers, which explains in more detail the story of the killer and why he became the killer.

Maybe I'll make a separate game about the killer.

I guessed I missed out something great in the game. Will be looking forward to the next game in the future! :)
